I've been coming to this restaurant since they were located on Martin back in the '80s they moved over on commerce and Smith and they're the only place in San Antonio I know where I can get my tacos at 5:30 in the morning. Family owned great service my favorite Taco is the potato and egg but you can't see the egg delicious. I recommend this place to anybody that loves tacos at 5:30 in the morning nice and fresh.
This is a local spot in every aspect of the definition. Its close to downtown, but don't except any of the high-end or touristy-focused accommodations or visuals. This location has super friendly staff, clean dining room and DELICIOUS TACOS. I stop in on occasion, after church down the street; Zarzamora/Martin had a lot of selection but for tacos this place it is for me. The selection is great and the serving line goes fast. However, there's only 1 register and this can get backed up. No point in getting your food fast if you can't pay and eat it. That's my only gripe. Always enjoy the barbacoa and carne guisada. Both are meaty and don't cut quality with fatty cuts.

Got the carne guisada with cheese and a bean and cheese with bacon and I was not disappointed at all.. tacos were made to perfection
They have great tacos and they are so yummy. If you want some really good tacos this is the place to go eat
